Another mountain village, Osmaniye, is somewhat better known. Approximately 95 percent of the inhabitants live from the honey production. With the support of the authorities in Marmaris a very interesting Honey Museum has been opened. You should not miss out on visiting this place (free of charge). Of course, you can test and purchase excellent honey of different types. This would support the local population.

The Honey Museum’s staff are selling an allegedly very healthy mixture of honey, pollen, propolis and royal jelly.
